I'm about to order a Recknage SSK-11 12mm dovetail mount for a Haenel Jaeger 9 intended Scope Minox 1-5x24 scope I am asked BH 15mm or 20mm. Tube is straight. is 15mm adequate?

The 15 mm setting should indeed be sufficient for the abovementioned scope. Nevertheless, you can always choose the 20 mm option if you want your scope to be mounted higher.
