How to make an order

We put significant effort into designing our store to make placing an order as simple as possible. However, we've also prepared this tutorial to guide you step-by-step through the process of making an online order. The steps involved in placing an order are as follows:

 

1. Adding the product to cart
2. Viewing the shopping cart (Optional)
3. Checkout
4. Payment

1. ADD A PRODUCT TO THE CART

You can add the product to your shopping cart from the Home page, Category page, or Product page. Examples of this are shown in the following pictures.

The procedure described above applies to simple products with no configurable options. However, some products have features that require selection (configuration) before adding them to your shopping cart. These products can only be added to the shopping cart from the Product page, and you must choose options in all the configuration fields. This is illustrated in the picture below.

When you add a product to your Shopping cart, the page automatically scrolls up to the position of the shopping cart in the upper right corner.

2. SHOPPING CART

After adding a product to your shopping cart, you can use the cart page to review the products, calculate shipping costs, and apply discount codes. Additionally, you can adjust the quantity of items or remove products from the cart. The shopping cart is accessible from anywhere on the page by clicking the shopping cart icon in the upper right corner, as shown in the next picture.

As previously mentioned, you can calculate shipping costs and apply discount codes in the cart. These features are illustrated in the pictures below.

Picture 7: Apply discount code by entering the code in the field and clicking Apply Discount. The discount is automatically calculated and deducted from the order total.

Visiting the shopping cart page before proceeding to checkout is optional and can be skipped when placing your order. You can always go directly to the checkout page from any page on our site after adding a product to your shopping cart.

3. Checkout

The checkout page is a crucial step, as it is where you will enter your address, choose a shipping method, and select a preferred payment method. You can access the checkout page from the cart by clicking the button Proceed to Checkout (picture 8) or from any page on our site by hovering your mouse over the cart in the upper right corner and clicking the checkout button (picture 9).

On the checkout page, there are three main sets of information that customers need to fill out before completing their order:

• shipping address
• shipping methods, and
• payment methods.

3.1 Shipping address

This section contains:

• Email address: Your order confirmation will be sent to this address
• Company checkbox: mark only if you are ordering as a company
• Company: name of the company
• VAT Number: enter valid VAT number of the company
• First Name
• Last Name
• Street Address
• Country
• Zip/Postal Code
• City
• Region/State/Province
• Phone Number: for delivery purposes only

3.2 Shipping method

The shipping methods section includes all available options based on your shipping address. Additionally, you can find information about shipping costs, delivery times, and tracking details. For more information about shipping options click here.

3.3 Payment method

The payment methods section lists all available options based on your shipping address. If you select either Credit Card or PayPal, clicking the Place Order button will redirect you to their external pages to enter your payment details. All pages where payment information is processed are encrypted and secured with security certificates. Learn more about the payment methods we offer here.

3.4 Order Summary

The order summary section displays the products in your shopping cart along with their prices, tax, shipping costs, and the order total. Here, you must agree to the terms of use by checking the appropriate box. You can also add an order comment and apply a discount code. By clicking the Place Order button, you complete your order and, if successful, will be redirected to the Thank You page.
