Hi! I own the “hunting version” of the Benelli Supernova and the only version that comes drilled and tapped is the “tactical version”. The tactical version isn’t sold in Sweden (where I’m located) as far as I know. But since my Benelli supernova have a “rib” I’ve been looking for a picatinny rail that can be mounted on the rib of a shotgun. So I was a bit excited when I stumbled upon the “ERA-TAC Picatinny Rail for Shotgun Rib”on you left website. Do you think there’s any possibility that this rail could be mounted on the rib of my Benelli supernova shotgun? Thanks in advance,

Will I be able to mount this on my Benelli supernova? (I own the model that comes with a “rib”)

This Picatinny rail is suitable for all shotgun ribs that have a width from 9 to 11.1 mm. You also need to consider two other dimensions which are H and T - please check the description on the product page.

Second question: What is the width of the Picatinny rail? The one for mounting on a 8.5mm rib (Remington 870).

The width of the Picatinny rail is based on the B dimension. The width of the Picatinny rail rib however is 21 mm as with all standard Picatinny rails.

Hi, How does the ERA-TAC picatinny rail for shotgun rib attach to the rib? Any need to drill holes? Regards.

You don't need to drill any additional holes onto the receiver of your rifle. You simply slide this Picatinny rail onto the rib of your shotgun and use the screws to tighten the rail onto the receiver.

Im looking for a rib mount for my over and under i dont have anything to measure mm. My rib venf top measures 5/16 width. The measurement for the space from barrel to rib is 1/16 at the lowest place and 1/8 at largest

According to your measurements (please note that we are unable to say for sure since we don't exactly know how you performed the measurements), the B dimension should be 8.0 - 9.1 mm, but we are unable to comment on the H dimension.

I have a Kreighoff Trias on the way. Solid rib. Can this be machined 30* to use this product? Rib dimensions unknown at this time. Thanks! Doug

Please note that in order to provide you with a suitable mount we will need to know the exact dimension (the width) of the rib on your shotgun.
