Sirs, I presently have a Vision King 1.5-6x42 scope fitted to my 308 cal Ruger Gunsite Scout. My son says it is too small for accuracy 100-200 yards + I would appreciate your opinion on this and subsequent recommendation if this scope is unsuitable. Kind Regards.

Firstly, we have to point out that this riflescope is suitable for rimfire rifles due to its lightweight construction. For precision shooting, you will require a riflescope with an adjustable parallax and higher magnification. If you will be performing hunting from 20 - 150 meters, the scope will be okay.

Bought one of these beauties second hand, but it seems the top cap is stuck to the dial adjuster. And ideas to try and separate them, the whole thing unscrews as one and theres not alot of thread to play with
