Dear Sir / Madam I am trying to access some bases and Ring combination or Pivot type Mounts , Claw Mounts etc for My French Gaucher Double Express Rifle in 9.3 X 74R the bases that are in the rear sighting Rib for such mounts are 4mm thick and the one nearest to the rear vee sight is 30mm long and 10 mm wide, hole centres are approx 22mm, the one nearest to the cartridge breech is 4mm thick and 25mm long and 10mm wide, hole centres are approx 13mm . I am open to any suggestion as to the type of mount and Ring combination that gives the Express Rifle the appeal and looks it deserves ! I hope that you can Assist . Please see the two pictures attached . The First picture shows the bases in situ , the second picture shows a Gaucher Express Rifle copied from guns international showing a similar rifle type with mounts , my preference would be either your Pivot type or Weaver Picitinny the bases that are fitted as blanks into the Rib have a flat base !
