My lovely wife has gifted me a Meopta riflescope in the power 2-10 x 42mm for my Verney Carron Impact Plus takedown rifle in 9.3x62mm. The tube of the scope is 1” and I want to purchase your two piece base and rings for this scope. From your website, my understanding is that your 26mm rings are appropriate for my needs. I am looking to confirm this with you so I may urgently place my order straight away such that there is sufficient time to receive, mount, and trial the rifle prior to attending a hunt in New Zealand in early May. I have two scopes I am thinking to mount on my Impact Plus takedown rifle. One has a 42mm Objective and the other has a 56mm objective. Which two sets of bases shall I order that allow me to settle on one or the other of these scopes? I will buy both sets of mounts and decide on which scope I prefer for my hunt during testing at the range. Many Thanks, Alex
