Leupold Rimfire rifle scopes description

Leupold rimfire rifle scopes were designed for rimfire rifles, such as the most common .22 LR, .17 HMR and many others. In this category of rifle scopes all have 3 times zoom factor, except one, that is fixed power.

The main tube diameter of all rifle scopes in this category is 1 inch, so many mounting solutions are available. Even these rifle scopes are made from a single piece aluminum, so they will withstand any abuse. All rifle scopes from this series are filled with argon, so they can be used even at low temperatures and they won't fog on the inner lenses. The lenses are also multi-coated for better light transmission and contrast.

All rifle scopes have non-illuminated reticles, that are set in the second focal plane (reticle size won't change with magnification) but the parallax is either fixed or adjustable on the objective, which depends on the model. Also the turrets, they are either exposed tactical or capped. This also depends on the model.

Target rifle scopes are meant for pinpoint accuracy and offer best possibilities for setting the scope in a way that rifle accuracy is best utilized. Target scopes do demand a lot of test shots for fine tuning of all the settings of the scope, to achieve best possible results. Target scopes can be used either for Benchrest, F class or any other type of long range shooting. Most common features of such scopes are:

  • High target capped turrets
  • Fine reticles
  • Fine click increments (1/8 MOA or similar)
  • Min. magnification from 4x to 15x
  • Max. magnification from 16x to 80x
  • High magnification
  • SFP reticle
