Schmidt & Bender PM II Rifle Scopes.

S&B Police Marksman II rifle scopes description

Schmidt&Bender Police Marksman II rifle scopes are the second edition of the Police Marksman series and offer higher magnifications and are primarily intended for long range shooting. They have been designed for professional use by police and military and meet all the harshest police and military standards. All Schmidt&Bender Police Marksman II series rifle scopes can be used safely on powerful calibres, such as the .50 BMG, but are also intended for long range shooting over 1000 meters.

The reticle is seated in the first focal plane and some versions have the reticle seated in the second focal plane. You can choose between an illuminated or standard reticle, three different scope colors (black, RAL8000 and PANTONE) and even with many different tactical turret types, such as single turn, double turn with visual rotational indicator, double turn with tactile rotational indicator and MTC feature, single turn with zero stop function, lockable double turn with tactile rotational indicator and MTC function, lockable single turn with zero stop function, ultra-flat lockable single turn with MTC function Ultra-flat lockable double turn with tactile rotational indicator and MTC function, and flat windage turret with cap. And each and every turret can be ordered in CW (clock wise)or CCW rotation (counter clock wise)

They also offer many different reticle options (23 illuminated and 9 non illuminated), and with the big success of the S&B PM II rifle scope series they started to make derivatives;

All Schmidt & Bender Police Marksman II series rifle scopes are waterproof and filled with dry nitrogen to prevent dew accumulation at low temperatures. All features have been rigorously tested and all tests confirm the quality and robust design of the scopes. The MIL-STD-810 G Method 512 testing standard of the American army showed that no damage has been sustained to the riflescope even if it has been submerged 25 meters under water in the sea for 10 hours. They also guarantee that rifle scopes work normaly in temperatures from -25 celsius up to +55 celsius. The optical properties are nothing short of amazing. Schmidt & Bender Police Marksman II riflescopes are being used by every police and military unit in the world and this makes them one of the best riflescopes for professional use in the world.

MIL/MIL tactical scopes have all the features needed in a high-quality tactical scope. These scopes are considered as the final evolution step of the classic optical riflescopes for tactical use. The common goal of all tactical scopes is to hit the target with the first shot and to make compensation for bullet drop and wind drift as accurate and straightforward as possible. With a Mil/Mil scope, this goal can be achieved even easier. The name itself shows that these scopes have reticles that have subtensions divided in milliradians at all magnification settings and that their clicks matched with reticle subtensions and thus also in milliradians. Common features of Mil/Mil scopes are:

  • FFP reticle position
  • Reticle subtension in miliradians (MIL and mrad are acronyms for miliradian)
  • Click value in 0.1 mrad (1cm/100m)
  • Tube diameter of 30, 34, 35, 36 or 40mm
