Bushnell Elite 4500 rifle scopes have had a bit of a reputation for their excellence from their presentation on. The manufacturer guarantees a 94% light transparency at 550 nm light wavelength, and all glass surfaces are ˝Ultra Wide Band˝ Coated which ensures good image sharpness and contrast. The outer lens surfaces are coated with Rainguard coating which prevents dew accumulation in cold weather and repels water droplets. The two smaller models have fixed parallax at 100 yards (91 meters) but the bigger models have adjustable parallax turret on the side of the rifle scope.

The housing of the Bushnell Elite 4500 rifle scopes is very robust since the whole construction is made from a single piece and has been tested with over 10.000 shots fired from a rifle chambered in caliber .375 H&H Magnum. Bushnell Elite 4500 rifle scopes are water and fog proof thanks to their special design and have argon filled inner structure. The reticle is placed in the second focal plane (reticle size doesn't change with zoom) which is very important in long range shooting when the target is minimally covered by reticle at maximum magnification. All reticles in the Bushnell Elite 4500 are non-illuminated.

Bushnell Elite 4500 rifle scopes are an excellent choice for hunters who would like all the properties of the much more expensive Bushnell Elite 6500 series but are satisfied with 4x span between minimal and maximum magnification.
