Bettinsoli is a family-owned Italian company that was founded in 1967 and is based in Gardone, Val Trompia. The company has remained in the Bettinsoli family for its entire existence. Specializing in the production of high-quality firearms, they are primarily known for producing over-and-under and side-by-side shotguns. Despite being relatively small compared to other Italian gunmakers, the company has a surprisingly large production capacity with an annual output of approximately 13,000 rifles.

Bettinsoli's firearms are recognized for their hand-crafted quality, and the general opinion is that they are priced reasonably, especially when compared to the rival brands. Over the decades, the company has introduced a variety of field, sporting, and competition firearms, such as the Diamond, Silver, X7, Nexus, Competition, Overland, Delta, Kombination rifle-shotgun, and Double Express models. Although much of the work continues to be done by hand, Bettinsoli also embraced computerized manufacturing techniques starting in the 1980s. This shift enabled precision manufacturing without over-reliance on expensive hand finishing. Furthermore, while the company fabricates most of its components in-house, the initial barrel blanks are outsourced, aligning with standard industry practice.

In terms of distribution, Bettinsoli's history includes selling private-label guns in the United States. Today, however, the company's rifles are imported by the Stratman family and sold by Bettinsoli USA. Despite the brand's established presence and the noted quality of its products, there is not an abundance of direct information available about the company. Its relatively low-profile contrasts with the significant role it plays in the firearms industry, both in Italy and abroad.
