Description of Celestron Cavalry Binoculars

Celestron manufacturer offers Cavalry series with three models of binoculars for observations in low-light conditions. The smallest model in the series Cavalry 7x50, perfect not only for hunting, law enforcement and military applications, but the configuration makes them perfect for marine use since they also integrate compass and GPS. The other two models are made for long range observations in the low-light conditions. Cavalry binoculars have a great price performance ratio. Extreme durability of these Porro prism binoculars are able to satisfy even the most demanding users, together with great optical performance and wider field of view.

Basic Feature

Cavalry binoculars are covered in army green color to help you blend in the nature, very convenient for hunters or military use, since they don’t reflect. They are also sound-proof, so any adjustments you make in these binoculars are quiet enough not to disturb wildlife when observing. The surface of the armouring is quite soft but still offers safe grip due to rugged areas around the edges of the barrels. The rubberized housing helps to protect these binoculars against impacts and abrasions so you can easily use them in difficult terrain. The constructions of the models are also fully waterproof to block the moisture, dust and debris entering and damaging the optics. They are also purged with nitrogen gas to eliminate the occurrence of condensation due to temperature changes. The lenses are set quite deep into the barrels which offers additional protection of the glass. The smallest 7x50 model is also suitable for mariners since they integrate digital compass, GPS, digital bubble level and reticle to make another measurement such as distance measurement. The Cavalry models are also tripod adaptable, especially convenient for two bigger models, with which it’s quite impossible to get a steady image by just holding them in hands.

Optical Properties

These Porro prism binoculars help to draw in a lot more light compared to roof prism binoculars. Cavalry uses BaK-4 glass and anti-reflective coatings. This fully multi-coated system helps with better light, colors and contrast transmission and significantly eliminates distortions such as chromatic aberration, so the view-through is lifelike and clear even when observing in low-light conditions. The very strong feature is also wider field of view that allows you to see more. The Cavalry binoculars have individual focus system that allows you to make adjustments for both eyes separately and remain in focus without further adjustments. Durable eyepieces are able to turn very smoothly for quick diopter adjustments. The eyecups are thin and foldable and offer a lot of flexibility even for those wearing eye glasses.

Accessories

Cavalry binoculars come with an unpadded carrying case in army green color, with strap and neck strap for carrying around the neck. Objective lens and eyecup lens covers are also added in the package.
