Bushnell Powerview Binoculars.

Bushnell Powerview binoculars are primarily meant for hikers, travellers and other regular nature goers who need a quality but also compact and light product. Because of their low price and excellent optical properties the Bushnell Powerview binoculars represent an excellent choice for buyers who do not wish to spend too much on their equipment but want good value for money. Despite their low price, the Bushnell Powerview binoculars are a robust and durable product. They ensure easy use even to users with glasses, since the oculars are adjustable in size and with or without dioptre adjustment.

With a choice of 7x, 10x, 12x, 16x or 20x powers the 50mm Bushnell PowerView porro prism series has you covered in just about any situation where you require an affordable binocular that will deliver a bright image in relation to your chosen magnification.

Important Features

A distinctive feature is Bushnell's InstaFocus lever. Rather than the traditional focus wheel, you can very quickly adjust the focus by rocking the lever. Apart from improving focusing speed, this design also helps to make focusing easier when wearing thick winter gloves.
All models also have fold-down rubber eyecups and a rubber armour exterior that adds a layer of protection increases grip and improves camouflage.

Optical Properties

Multi-coated, these full-sized PowerView binoculars have multiple anti-reflection coatings applied to the outermost lenses that increase light capture and transmission. Whilst this is good and to be expected at this price level, it is important to note that more expensive instruments like the Bushnell Legacy WP Binoculars are Fully Multi-coated meaning that all lens elements throughout the optical pathway are treated for an even brighter view.
Bushnell uses BK-7 glass for the Porro Prisms. These have an advantage over roof prisms because the design naturally reflects 100% of the light and thus they do not require expensive mirror coatings to perform at the same level. Thus at this low price point, Porro prisms binoculars like these will usually outperform equivalent roof prism models as they will use cheaper mirror coatings to keep production costs down.
