My bushnell 1700 prime rangefinder is reading incorrect yardage. Off more then 20 yds

Bushnell 1700, new last year, worked great. Took out of storage and battery was dead. Replaced battery and there is no display.

Rangefinder will only show 8 or 9 yards no matter what obj ct I am targets my. How do you reset??
