Hello, I purchased and already received a HMS Mount for mounting my aim point micro h2 to my Sako 85. I received the mount(plate) 4 screws and one pin. As far as I understand the pin has to be inserted into the fitting 5th hole in the mounting plate, so that it will grab into the mold at the very end of the rail of the Sako so that it will allow for a accurate repositioning? The pin seems to be too long: Either it blocks the Aimpoint from a proper mount to the plate or it blocks the plate from sitting right on the sakes rail. Did I receive the wrong pin order do I misunderstand the construction? Best regards

Please note that the pin indeed is designed as a recoil stopper, however, you can cut it according to your rifle's recoil stopper hole to fit properly.

Does this mount only fit the rear dovetail on a Sako 85? I purchased it from you and when placed on the forward dovetail, it cants off on an angle due to the V shaped front rail.

Hi, I recently got one of these for my sako 85 - i want to get an aimpoint this does not seem to attach straight to sako base on the rilfe? am i missing a part or need to purchase something else ?
