Schmidt & Bender Klassik Hungaria 6x42 riflescope is meant for those who like tradition and have traditional European rifles. No other riflescope in Europe was so wide spread as 6x42 and nothing suits old rifles better than this riflescope. Schmidt & Bender Klassik Hungaria riflescopes are very similar to Schmidt & Bender Klassik riflescopes and offer the fixed magnification feature. The only difference is in the name that tells us that they have been manufactured in Hungary and therefore the price is a bit lower. They still offer an illuminated reticle for night time hunting, basic reticles and can be safely used on the most powerful hunting rifles. They are all waterproof and filled with dry nitrogen for easy use at low temperatures. Schmidt & Bender Klassik Hungaria riflescopes have a warranty period of 10 years and an additional 20 years guarantee for service and maintenance.

Excellent service and Excellent scope

Hi There, I am from south Asian country. In my country telescope sights are restricted items. We can not buy freely even though there are many Chinese scopes are available at market. I have used many Chinese scopes and feed up so I thought of buying a European scope. Since it is a restricted item if there is any problem I can not send it back to service so I have decided to buy fixed power scope because from my experience it will never need any service if you use it properly. I have visited many times to USA used different scopes but this Schmidt and bender fixed power is excellent clarity and pleased to eyes, worth to pay every penny. You can see clear difference at the time of evening shooting and night time shooting especially dun and dusk shooting. I have order A8 reticle for my rim fire rifle, Optics trade service was excellent they delivered 2 weeks earlier after checked out I have used it two weeks. Scope preformed very well so I thought of order one more scope with A7 reticle for my PCP air rifle but I like to set parallax at 50 meters. I have informed to Optics trade they check with Schmidt and bender they said it is possible but they need 8 weeks delivery time I agreed and pay the money but with in two weeks they delivered the scope, really a excellent communication from Optics trade and Excellent customer service from Schmidt and bender. I highly recommend both Optics trade and Schmidt and bender to buy the scope.

Excellent scope

I found quality of this scope is extremely good. First of all it is classic simple and elegant. Mechanically superb, it was right on spot after mounting. Adjustment clicks firm but easy to turn. Dual dials convenient to have, you always know where is your inner (erector) tube is. Optics is very present to eyes. I choose A1 reticle and love it. At first I wasn't sure about A1 reticle, but all doubts desappears after the very first hunt. Fixed power is only one choice for me since I'm mechanical engineer and understand optics. Recommend to anybody. Excellent product!

That is entirely correct. The price of the scope is 529€ with the VAT excluded, while the price of FedEx is 79,90€.

Since we are based in Slovenia (European Union) you could face some Customs procedures fees. Please check the potential fees of your purchase with your local Customs office.

This model is only available in the 1" (25.4 mm) tube size. The A1 reticle is not available with this model.

Please note that we order these products by demand due to different reticle configurations. Most S&B scopes are made by demand, which is why the delivery time is approximately 10 weeks. This scope is available with the A4, A7, and A8 reticles.

I want to confirm measurement A on the a8 reticle for the Schmidt Bender Hungaria 6x42. The catalogue shows it to be 50” but the a8 reticle drawing on your website looks much narrower. Please advise.
