I set my scope in at 30 yards almost hitting the bullets hole;then i went back to 125 yards shotting high about 6'' I have 6-18-50 Bushnell banner with Remington 243 100 gain

I have just mounted this scope and I am trying to bore sight it but the scope refuses to adjust up or from side to side.
