Description of Leica Monovid monoculars

Leica Monovid is, simply explained, a half-version of the Leica Ultravid Pocket 8x20 binoculars. It has all the features of the pocket binoculars in an even smaller form while still retaining Leica’s optical quality. The series was launched in 2009. Ever since then, their model is still one of the best products offered on the market in this field.

It is available in three different versions: black, red and silver. Made from excellent materials and 20 mm objective lens, these monoculars from the Monovid series are small and light, perfect to be stored in any pocket. The armouring is made from genuine and elegant leather that offers a good grip. Because of its small size and roof prism body, it’s perfect for birdwatchers, hikers, concert goers, sports fans and travelers.

Monovid comes with a special close-up accessory lens which gives a macro effect and allows the user to observe finest details at distances as close as 25-30 cm. So, not only is it perfect for observations of objects far away, but also for close focusing macro observations.

All models from the Monovid series are made in Portugal.
