Don’t want to mess up anything on my Leupold VX Freedom 3x9x40 CDS scope. Never had a scope with adjustments like those on my new Leupold. All of mine have slots for a coin or tool to turn. How do you adjust the windage and elevation on this scope - especially the one on top that locks. Where do you use the Allen wrench. Thanks.

by David

Dear David,

thank you for contacting us.

We would need to know if you are using the CDS or classic capped turrets. In the case of capped turrets, you need to pay attention for an allen wrench placement as well as with CDS turrets, however, in some cases with Leupold, the return to zero is simply not possible.

If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us directly at info@optics-trade.eu. We are here to help.

Hi there, I’m just wondering what the different lines on the crosshairs represent distance wise as I have bought a rifle with this scope on it and it didn’t come with boxes or anything, so I’m not sure what distance it’s shooting at in the centre and the other lines. Thanks Luke

by Luke

Dear Sir,

thank you for reaching out to us.

The fine lines are 0.4 MOA, the heavy ones are 2.6 MOA. The distance from the center to the heavy lines is 10 MOA.

These lines will measure or subtend correctly when the riflescope is to the highest magnification.

Thank you for your understanding and please do not hesitate to contact us at info@optics-trade.eu if we can assist you in any other way.

Kind regards

Hello. I need to attach this rifle to the Tikka T1x MTR. Can you give me some advice?

by Tibor

Dear Customer,

thank you for contacting us.

We advise you to install a Picatinny rail on the receiver of your Tikka T1 rifle.

https://www.optics-trade.eu/en/contessa-picatinny-rail-for-tikka-t1.html

The Picatinny rail will give you an enormous amount of versatility in terms of mounting.

The tube diameter of this particular riflescope is 25.4 mm (1 inch). We advise you to use Rusan steel mounts which offer a very good price-performance ratio. You can either choose fixed or quick-detachable versions.
