Solid

Received the mount today and mounted it to my P99 (early built series). Fit was tight but I think it has do be hard to install so it stays at place. Docter sight II also fits in with no problem. Will test now everything and rewrite if the mount moves or not but makes until now a solid impression but the price is a bit high in my opinion. A bit less than 100euros will be a much better and attractive price.

Will this mount a rmr/vortex/viper/sro?

Do I need to have my slide milled before I can install this? Or does it attach in the same place as the iron sights?

The mount should be installed by first removing the rear sight from the firearm. Once removed, the screw on the plate that holds the base in place should be unscrewed. The base can then be inserted into the empty space where the rear sight was previously located. To complete the installation, the base should be secured by tightening the screw.

We believe this EGW Trijicon Mount for Walther PPQ should fit on your Walther P99, but it would render your decocker useless. EGW recommends it anyways.

We sadly don't sell any other Trijicon RMR mount for Wlather P99.

I purchased a Henneberger mount for a red dot sight on a Walther P99 pistol. It has arrived but there are no set screws with it. Could you please advise me on the size of set screws needed? Thank you.

Where can I find installation instructions for Walther P99 before I purchase? -I want to know if I need to drill and Tal my p99 slide for this plate or I can use it immediately out of the box? There are two screw holes in it that make me think that I have to drill my slide? John

You should be able to fit the Docter sight mount from Henneberger directly to your Walther P99 without any modification. The two holes you are referring to are used for red dot sight fixation via two screws. Please note the screws are not as they should come with the red dot sight.
