Celestron Trailseeker 10x32 Product description

Optically designed for mid to longish range observations, when compared to the standard sized 10x42mm Trailseeker, the smaller dimensions and low weight make this a fantastic option for outdoor enthusiasts, hunters, and birders who travel, carry other equipment or who simply want an easier to pack and carry binocular.
Keep in mind that this low weight and more compact shape come at a cost and that it the smaller objective lenses are not able to capture as much light as those with larger lenses. So whilst the good quality, fully multi-coated optical system does go a long way in countering this, these binoculars will not be able to offer the same level of performance in low light and thus perform best in well light situations during the day.
This Trailseeker model has an eye relief of 14.4mm, which is perfectly acceptable for most users but may cause a problem for those who use eyewear as it may not be enough to enable you to wear your glasses and be able to see the full image. If this is a concern, the 17mm you get on the 8x42 Trailseeker might be a better option for you.

About Celestron TrailSeeker Binoculars

TrailSeeker binoculars series by Celestron manufacturer offers high-level binoculars at affordable price. There are 4 models available in this series with binoculars perfect for beginners in huntingbirdwatching and other nature adventures. Receiving the best new hunting gear award in 2013, these binoculars are equipped with high-quality optical technology, they also offer comfortable ergonomics, wider field of view, have fully waterproof and fogproof construction for reliable performance.

Basic Feature

The TrailSeeker binoculars offer great ergonomics with top-hinge design that makes the weight distribution incredibly handy by tilting the binoculars more against the face when looking through. The thinner single-bridge also gives more space to hold them with a firm grip. The rubber armouring that protects these binoculars against impacts is also rugged, helping you to get a non-slip grip. This hard rubber with fine texture also integrates thumb depressors for even greater handling ability. These binoculars are exceptional because they are built using the magnesium material, making them extremely lightweight but also strong to withstand the extreme weather and test of time. TrailSeeker has a tightly sealed body, making them waterproof, not only against water if you use them in damp areas, but also to prevent dust getting inside the binoculars if you use them in dry areas. They are also purged with nitrogen gas, that prevents condensation on the inside of binoculars and slowly damage them because of corrosion and mold. TrailSeker binoculars are also tripod adaptable with added screws.

Optical Properties

Great optical quality is a result of BaK-4 glass that helps to increase light transmission and together with fully multi-coated system enhances contrast and colors. The anti-reflective coatings in TrailSeeker also help to make clearer view in poor light conditions. Phase correction and dielectric coated prisms add to better resolution, offering greater view-through. The TrailSeekers can pride themselves with wider field of view that helps with quick tracking of the birds and other fast moving subjects. This series offers central focusing mechanism with central focusing knob that is grippy and helps you make quick adjustments. Let’s not forget about the right-eye diopter that helps you to compensate for differences in eyesight and thus making precise and sharp image. Eyecups aren’t plastic but are made out of metal for extreme durability, a very welcome feature in binoculars.

Accessories

TrailSeeker binoculars come with a case for storage and protection. Wide neck strap and harness strap are added for additional comfortability when carrying binoculars for longer time. They are also equipped with objective lens covers and eyecups covers for additional protection of outer lenses.
