To mount your riflescope with these Recknagel Tip-Off Rings for Steyr SSG 69 (34 mm), you will need a minimum of 15 mm BH height. This is why we recommend you choose a BH height of 19 mm.

I have a Steyr SSG 69 and need to mount a Vortex Venom 5-25x56 34 mm tube. It would appear that your mounts 43134-1000 would be suitable, eye relief and correct positioning on the tube may present a problem. Is it possible to fit the mounts 180 deg if necessary? This mount is suitable for your Vortex scope and Steyr SSG 69 rifle. The BH height of the mount needs to be at least 15 mm in order to work. Unfortunately, you will not be able to mount this scope on 180 degrees. The eye relief should not be such a problem with this mount.

Good Day. I have a Steyr SSG69 and intent to fit a Vortex Venom 5-25x56, (34 tube) Due to insufficient eye relief & cheek weld, I have removed the SSG Picatinny rail and am considering the Necknagel Tip-off rings (43134-000). This may improve cheek weld. If I am able to reverse, off set or turn the mounts 180deg this may well permit the mounts to be better positioned on the tube. What dose Tip-Off denote? I assume that BH is base height. I look forward to your assistance and thank you in advance,
