About the Model (Telos XQ35)

Telos XQ35 represents the entry point into the Telos series, designed to bring high-quality thermal imaging to a broader audience. It maintains the series’ hallmark of modular design, allowing users to enhance their device without the need for complete replacement. This model features a compact Lynred made in EU sensor with a resolution of 384x288 and a 17-micron pixel pitch.

It is equipped with a 35 mm germanium lens and boasts an NETD (Noise Equivalent Temperature Difference) of less than 25 millikelvins, which indicates how well the device can distinguish between tiny differences in thermal radiation in the image. The Telos XQ35 offers a 3x base magnification with the possibility of 4x digital zoom. The HD AMOLED display is engineered to operate effectively in temperatures as low as -25°C.

The device allows for the display of thermal images in eight distinct color palettes, with the White Hot and Black Hot options primarily utilized for enhanced detection. The control rings for focus and zoom are symmetrically placed around the lens for balanced and easy adjustments.

Optical Properties

The Telos XQ35 model has a picture-in-picture (PiP) mode, 4x digital zoom, and 3x optical magnification. The maximum detection range is 1300 meters. The angular field of view of the Telos XQ35 model is 10.7° x 8°, making the device suitable for scanning large areas. The device also features a built-in video recorder and can capture images. The XQ35 features 64 GB of internal memory for storing images and videos.
