Dear Sir, I am interested in purchasing a Skyline base 50T telescope. Please help if it is suitable for my needs. First, it should be used to observe a distant city/landscape approx. 30 km away from a vantage point. In addition, it would be used for amateur observation of the night sky. Is that product suitable and safe for such use (in terms of eye health if looking at a city in the distance). Please inform me what is included in the price of such a telescope (stand?), what color is it and what would be the price with delivery to Zagreb? Thanks in advance, Morana

Poštovani, zainteresirana sam za nabavku teleskopa Skyline base 50T. Molim pomoć je li odgovarajući za moje potrebe. Prvo, trebao bi služiti za promatranje udaljenog grada/krajobraza udaljenog cca 30 km s točke gledišta. Osim toga koristio bi se za amatersko promatranje noćnog neba. Je li taj proizvod odgovarajući i je li siguran za takvu upotrebu (u smislu zdravlja oka ako se promatra grad u daljini). Molim informaciju što dolazi u cijeni takvog teleskopa (stalak?), koje je boje i koja bi bila cijena s dostavom za Zagreb? Hvala unaprijed, Morana

Hello,

Thank you for your message.

The Levenhuk Skyline BASE 50T telescope is a refractor telescope, which means that it has lenses in its construction - so it is great for observing both land and space. However, this model is intended for beginners (the aperture of the telescope is 50 mm, we usually recommend at least 70 mm for observing the sky), so yes, you can use it for basic astronomy.

Don't worry about eye safety, but you shouldn't look directly at the sun (except by using certain filters).

Teleskop Levenhuk Skyline BASE 50T je refraktorski teleskop, kar pomeni, da ima v konstrukciji leče - torej je odličen za opazovanje tako kopnega, kot tudi vesolja. Vendar je ta model namenjen bolj začetnikom (odprtina teleskopa je 50 mm, po navadi za opazovanje neba priporočamo vsaj 70 mm) tako da, ga lahko uporabljate res za osnovno astronomijo.

Za varnost oči vas naj ne skrbi, ne smete pa direktno opazovati sonca (razen z uporabo določenih filtrov).
