The mount is suitable for Sauer 404 and for riflescopes with a 30 mm tube. Meaning you should mount your Leica Amplus 6 1-6x24i to your Sauer 404 with no problem.

Hi - is there a instruction manual PDF you have for this mount? Can't find any info on how to set it up anywhere, and on forums, people are complaining about how difficult it is... I don't want to spend EUR400+ on a mount that you cannot mount without a gunsmith...? Thanks.

Unfortunately, the PDF manual is not available for this product. Generally, the mount itself is not so difficult to install as e.g. Pivot mounts which require a bit more knowledge to install and usually require the help of a gunsmith.

Hi, what BH height would I need to mount a Schmidt and Bender 2.5-13x56 scope on a Sauer 404? The diameter of the objective end of the scope if 62mm and so BH is 16mm - will this fit the SUM with BH of 15mm?

The BH height of 15 mm should be enough for the 62 mm outer objective diameter scope, as the mounting bases are positioned a bit higher which adds a few millimeters of the additional space. It could be, however, that the iron sights (if installed) will get in the way of the scope.
