Physical properties of Ghost 1-10x26

The IOR Ghost 1-10x26 FFP is a powerful rifle scope with 10x zoom. It is made entirely out of metal. It has a flip-up cover made of rubber, is nitrogen-purged, and can withstand temperatures ranging from -22 to 50 degrees Celsius. The scope is long and heavy at 290 millimeters in length and 850 grams.

The Ghost 1-10x26 riflescope has a first focal plane reticle similar to the IOR extreme reticle, composed of a center dot illuminated by a 2 MIL circle, with up to 10 MIL markings when zoomed in. The reticle does not offer precision shooting at long distances but performs satisfactorily for its purpose.

The illumination system for the Ghost 1-10x26 scope can be operated from the side turret with 11 intensity settings. It is bright enough to use in daylight at 3x magnification and up, but not at lower magnifications. To shut off the illumination, switch it into the "off" position, and to access the battery compartment unscrew the cap on the side turret with a coin. The illumination requires one CR-2032 battery for operation.

The turrets on this optic are uncapped and tactical, with 0.1 MIL clicks that are audible but not particularly tactile. Advanced users may be concerned with accidental adjustments while transporting the scope as it lacks tactile clicks. It has 5 MILs of elevation per full revolution, with 33 MILs of travel in total, though the turn indicator is barely visible and difficult to determine.

Optical performance

The IOR Ghost 1-10x26 FFP offers superb optical performance with a wide zoom range, high light transmission rate, and excellent eye box. It features a European-style fast-focus eyepiece with a smooth magnification ring, offering clear and accurate views at every distance. Additionally, it is extremely durable due to its quality craftsmanship.

It does not have any parallax adjustment, but the fixed setting at 100 meters allows for sharp and focused images without the need for adjustments.

Mounting solution

The IOR Ghost 1-10x26 scope is unique due to its 35-millimeter main tube diameter. This attribute sets it apart from other wide-angle riflescopes.

Clip-on attachments

The objective of this scope has not been designed to accommodate clip-on attachments, as there is a small bump where such objects can be attached. Therefore, you must attach a clip-on device to the front of your scope via a Picatinny rail or with some other secure mounting system.
