Good Red Dot Sight

I generally like this sight, and find the red dot very useful in sighting on the target. HOWEVER it is very difficult to zero the sight on the object - being brown rats and grey squirrels.
I wish the sight was designed to make adjusting the sight less confusing
John Kennedy

I just acquired the Vantage 1 x 20 Red Dot and cannot determine how to turn on and off the scope. Please advise. Tommy

Dear Tommy,

thank you for reaching out to us.

The red dot is turned off when the mark of the illumination wheel is turned at 0.

Kind regards

RE: Hawke Vantage 1 x 20 Red Dot SIGHT (plus/minus) The instructions for zeroing this sight are DIFFICULT ! Am I right to do the following - TOP TURRET =Clockwise turn will move red dot to LEFT, CCW therefore will move red to RIGHT. LOWER TURRET = CW to lower red dot and CCW to raise red dot Please help on this because there are two turrets and PLUS/MINUS signs BUT NO CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS John

by John

Dear Sir,

thank you for reaching out to us.

Adjust the elevation with the top turret - clockwise for lowering the point of impact and counter clockwise to raise the rifle's point of impact.

For windage adjustment, turn the side turret clockwise to move the point of impact to the left and counter clockwise to move it to the right.

If you have any further questions or concerns please don't hesitate to contact us and we will do our best to assist you.

Kind regards

I have a Hawke Vantage 1 x 20 Red Dot Sight BUT find zeroing it very difficult to understand from your instructions, which I have printed. Am I correct in doing the following - 1. The top adjustable turret (with plus/minus mark BELOW will by turning CW move the red dot to the LEFT and conversely by moving CCW move the red dot to the LEFT. With the lower turret (on the side),by moving it CW will it lower the red dot and conversely CCW raise the red dot ? Your comment on this assumption would be greatly appreciated.

Dear John,

thank you for contacting us.

Generally moving the clicks on the elevation turret up for example will also move your point of impact up and vice versa down. The same stands for the windage turret. You can also give us a call on this matter, so we can provide you with a more comprehensive guide.

If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us directly at info@optics-trade.eu. We are here to help.

Kind Regards,
