Although the Tier-One bipod is designed to leave enough space to fit a thicker profile barrel, we should physically check it to be absolutely sure. Additionally, can you please specify the thickness (outer diameter) of the barrel you plan to switch to? With a Blaser QD adapter, you also get the Picatinny QD adapter as those are interchangeable in order to use the Blaaser adapter correctly.

Unfortunately, Tier-One no longer produces the adapter to fit Sauer 404 rifle.

The new adapter for Blaser that is available is the one specified on the Tier-One webpage that you are referring to.

If you have a classic Sling Swivel adapter you will need to use the Tactical bipod from Tier-One which comes with the suitable adapter. Please take a look at it on the page below.

Bipod is designed with rubber feet. You get a bipod with the desired adapter.
