Hi I have recently bought a Bushnell AR 1-6+24 AR716241 Illuminated scope Well I've tried and tried to take off side cover to replace the battery and can not. Taken to the sporting store and no luck. Can you pls help

The battery cap can be unscrewed counterclockwise on the left side of the scope; on the illumination knob.
